This is a lively study of the Psalms with Bible Teacher Lisa Harper. Be reminded that God wants us to come to Him no matter what we are feeling or going through. The Psalms provide an authentic look at things faced everyday by followers of God and reassurance that God's love for us is steadfast and true . Find a fresh look at God’s story in its historical and cultural contexts. The Bible is one cohesive story, rather than a book of random stories. Every story is like a pearl. A single pearl is beautiful by itself, but when strung together it makes something timeless and transformational. As we journey through the Bible from Genesis to Revelation, we will string all the pearls together and discover what God has been up to the whole time. If the Bible sometimes feels "Greek to you," then you're in the right place! In this class, we'll start by journeying through a timeline of Bible history, learning about the literal events that happened in Scripture. We will also uncover the hidden treasures that foretold the coming of a Savior. Our goal is rooted in I John 5:13: “… that you may KNOW that you have eternal life.”
